Bangkok.. one of my all time favourite city.. this is the view of the city from my hotel.. Baiyoke Sky Hotel 77th floor.. its an amazing hotel.. bangkok tallest.. anyways i decide to go on this trip like really last minute.. kinda like a impromptu thing since it is recess week so why not! its a good chance for me to go shopping, stock up for PoshModcatch up with my thai friends and eat my favorite thai food! and what is more interesting about this trip is that this time i will be only going there with shan! just the 2 of us.. adventurous right!
My favorite street food - YUM, basically its like a home made version of the thai tom yum maggie noodles.. they add in seafood and other stuff.. and the best part is it cost just over a dollar! its amazing how you can get good food at such a price!
Met up with Bow! my roomie in six flags.. i miss her so much.. she brought us around chinatown together with her dad as well as her friend Ling.. they are such great host..
that is Bow's dad.. thai chinese who can speak like a dozen different languages and he brings us to eat the best food in chinatown..
And the best part is SHOPPING! check our shopping trolley.. we had to buy a trolley cus we werent able to carry our purchase.. too much stuff! and there are things to shop pratically everywhere.. this is like a big overhead bridge and its filled with stalls selling pretty things!
Our favorite hair accessory stall.. located just outside our hotel.. the aunty is so nice and friendly.. and the stuff she has are really pretty and cheap! we visited her every night that we were there! and she even gave us presents when we told her we were leaving the next day.. really sweet of her!
the amazing view of Bkk from my hotel room , we were at lvl 44!
our purchases! 2 giant bags! thank God we did not exceed our baggage!!
the trip was so good.. i had many concerns about the political unrest and all the riots.. but when we arrive there we werent to feel any sign of riots at all.. it was like business as usual.. and the place was full of tourist too.. thai people we met are all such warm, nice and friendly people nothing like the kind who would go on the street to riot.. i really love bangkok! hoping to go back there soon!!
