HEY PEOPLE! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

i have been missing for a while and i apologise for that.. so many things happened, so many events.. i have been so busy this Christmas that i really got no time. please forgive me k. I'll update u all now.. its going to be LONG! so sit back as i bring you through my eventful Christmas :) lets start from the most recent ones..

Yesterday!

went Timbre with Amanda, Aretha, my bro and Charmain last night.. it was so spontaneous.. was suppose to be at a party with them but when i called they say they wanna leave alr then Amanda came up w this super last min idea about going to timbre.. so they head down to my place and i drove them there.. its amazing how i manage to find my way to the car park!

the good fellas were on that night.. yay, my favourite band at timbre! we had a great time just chilling out.. lets do this more.. Amanda sacrificed alcohol to drive us back she had virgin Margarita instead.. thanks babe! stayed over at their house..

BOXING DAY!

boxing day was a pretty simple day.. but i enjoyed it nevertheless.. had Christmas party at Anne's house.. the whole cell was down to help prepare food for.. we even had a chocolate fountain! food again! i have been eating so much..

we played the usual silly games.. and i am the one doing forfeit all the time i dunno why also.. haha.. oh and poor Sharon got into a car accident that morning. Thank God she is ok! the car is not that ok thou.. haha.. please bubble wrap yourself girl the next time u drive.. haha..

Christmas day!

Christmas was spent in church and with the people dearest to me.. my dearest friends, my family and of course my boyfriend..

yups.. nothing fancy, just simple lunch at ichiban at esplanade with them.. we had a super long lunch.. finally get a chance to sit down and have a good meal tog since Aretha came back.. love u girls so much.. i think we talked more that we eat.. we ate sushi for about 4 hours la..

thank u all, peeps from church, for all the Christmas cards, gifts, cookies and muffins! it warms my heart to know that i am loved by all of you! had dinner with my parents at night then headed over to Eugene's house and we watched movies on his lappy.. spend the night with him :)

Christmas Eve..

went for Amanda's musical! it was great! even though the star of the show was hit with chicken pox and Aretha had to take over all her roles.. the musical still went on and everything was just really enjoyable. great work Amanda and ur team! so proud of u all :)

Day b4 Christmas Eve..

Its the day we have been practicing so long for! we performed along orchard road.. just outside the building between lucky plaza and paragon. our hard work finally paid off and i really hope that the audience got the message behind our dance..

i really love the dance people, jus so fun being with them.. doing silly things like trying to do jump shots in the middle or orchard road.. the performance was great except that you were not there to watch it. its kinda sad.. but the show must go on.. wish u knew what was behind the smiles

Saturday before Christmas

great job to the party planners, me steph and zj! the party was so fun lets do it again next year!

we bought so much food i think we could have fed the whole neighbourhood!

we had our door long table dining at steph's garden, the breeze was good and so was the food.. we ate so much we could hardly move. it was those American style type where all the food was in the table and we jus pass it around..

and of course we had alcohol! after working at DFS ezann has become some pro bartender.. she makes really good cocktail! awesome! could have been better if our dear eugene ang hadn't screw up the drinks by buying orange juice instead of cranberry juice. he says orange juice is the closest he can get to cranberry juice. and we went like ?!?!?!??!

oh and we had our gift exchange! well, most of us got what we wished for! thanks to zj who did all the coordination work.. and thanks to zj again, some people got really weird stuff like NTUC vouchers!! haha.. sorrie Kok, hahaha.. you helped ur mom save on grocery this xmas.. she should be really happy! hahaha..

yup.. and we played silly games like charades! so FOC.. but we all had fun doing stupid things like " Cheng Fook Jam Making Bubble tea" and " Dr Benny Eating Apple Strudel" haha.. thanks for coming, hope u all had as much fun as i did!

this Christmas have been a bittersweet one for me. went through some rough patches.. but things seem pretty ok now, hope things will stay this way and that we are really ok. i love you dear.. for those who stood by me thru the hard times, thank you for being a good listener and lending me a shoulder to cry on, comforting and cheering me up. you know who u are.. thank you dears really appreciate it. yups.

yups, that's pretty much all for Christmas.. and something interesting but not so Christmas.. i had my first session on the green with eug n cad that day and guess what! i hit a hole-in-one! amazing right.. i got no idea how i manage to do that.. if onli i was playing at some atas country club i could have won 50k! hahaha.. oh wells..

sorry for the lack of updates, i am so busy with work lately and everyday when i reach home i just wanna sleep so exhausting.. yup i m finally working during the hols, not bumming around. i am working for intercruise now.. so basically i help them with the check in procedure. i get paid 8 per hour so its not bad.. haha

.

this is the cruise i work for - legend of the seas by rolay carribean. its a huge ship with really great facilities.. but its so sad i only get to watch people board the cruise.. i cant even step in it.. its like so near yet so far..

the good thing about woking there is that 1. the pay is pretty good. 2. i dun not hav to work everyday so i get to enjoy my hols and 3. the people there are really nice n fun to hang out with and there are so many of them from my school! i guess its them that makes time past really fast..

met up with my bestest friends today.. like Finally! love you girls.. had a great time catching up and shopping.. i am so glad i have them in my life, they are the ones who see me through so many ups and downs of my life..

Dance Camp!

EAT DANCE SLEEP

that was all that we did through out dance camp! its crazy how we dance from morning to night 10am to 11pm and stop only to have our meals.. i feel super fit now from all that dancing! well its a good experience to get a taste of many different dance genre( Hip hop, Jazz, Reggae, Zazo, Contempt, modern and other exotic stuff.. even yoga). foot thongs were my best friend.. i would hav survive camp without it.

the sad thing is we are so busy we got no time for photo taking.. so sad.. at least i got a pic of my roomies,tracy and jeanette. they were both from my ballet class and we happen to join ensemble at the same time.. so cool.. its like mini reunion.. we are jus happy to have each other.. all the late night snacks and gossips and cathcing up.. love you girls !

what happens when dad is outta town and the car is in the hands of 2 ladies, one who haven driven in 6 years and one who just got her license.. hmmm.. i'll leave it up to your imagination.. hahaha.. dad is going to get heart attack when he comes back.. hahaha..

Send my dad off at the airport early in the morning last fri. he handed his car to me and left for Philippines.. he was so worried that he had to ask Eugene to acc me when i drive home from the airport. but we all made it home alive k! i am a good driver!

.

the first day with the car was pretty ok, everything went smoothly.. but on the second day it was so scary. i drove without putting down the hand brake.. it was so scary. cus when i hit the expressway and i accelerate the whole car started vibrating violently! i was so freaked out! the car was like go in to fall apart la.. i think i prob spoil the hand brakes.. oops..

and then when i reach the car park.. i did the usual parking procedure but i got no idea how the car suddenly locked! it cant start, it cant move! i called the AA emergency number then they says my membership is invalid.. i think they dun want me as a member.. humpf! my mom stop some driver and he manage to solve the prob.. well, i dint put the gear to park when i off the engine tts why it locked.. drivers pls rmb tis!

ok, but that is not the end! while i was in church i received an sms.. my mom texted me saying.. "i drove the car home, call me and i'll pick you up" then i was like WTH! you haven driven in 6 years and u just drive hm yourself! crazy.. then she came to pick me up, it was so scary can.. she anyhow one, just dash into e road w/o checking.. thank God i am alive..

oh then in the evening my mom drove us to this dinner at Carlton hotel.. she dint dare to go down the slope of the car park.. and she refuse to let me drive.. so in the end we had to ask for valet parking.. i was like speechless.. 9 bucks to park the car?!

then after the dinner, she let my neighbour drive us back in the car.. and guess what, my neighbour drank a little too much wine.. then while she was parking she scratched the front of a taxi! there are scratches on my dad car as well! he is going to scream..

enough of bad car day.. lets talk abt the dinner.. it was fan-ta-bulous! omg! Wah Lok Restaurant at Carlton hotel.. the food was amazing.. check out what's in the menu..

the lobsters were so chunky and fresh! Damn nice..

each one of us had an abalone each to our self!

this is like the few rare occasion where u can actually fish out the sharks fin in the soup.. its not like those crab meat nonsense they always serve at wedding.. they give the REAL stuff..

there are alot more impressive dishes.. i was so blown away by the food.. oh and what's the special occasion.. its my neighbour's 70th birthday celebration.. well, all the guest at the table were all around that age.. and they all speak dialect! but the conversation is really interesting.. they practically gossip about everyone in the neighbourhood! its scary how they know what's going on in your family when u dun even know them.. oh my, i think i am going to be like them when i am old!

SUNDAY! i encounter a new set of car adventure!

my car park drive way at my house is so freaking narrow and u know how fat my dad's car is.. so i thought i could manage but guess what i got STUCK at the corner! it i go forward i hit the front, reverse i hit the side.. i was like SHIT! after like damn long i manage to get outta e mess but with added scratches to the car.. ahahha..

.

and then while i was driving to church.. i think i was dreaming.. i miss the expressway exit! AHH! i ended up in eunos.. then i felt so lost so i jus keep driving.. and the next thing i know i was in HOUGANG! that is so damn far from aljunied and i was uber late! rarr! great thanks to GPS i manage to find my way back.. phew..

then in the evening i drove alone to PS..and its my first attempt up the spiral parking thingy.. i made it! so proud of myself.. haha..

hey boon pin we ate Paris Brest! see we are such supportive friends.. but u told us it was shape like breast with cheery in the middle.. bluff us! but its still nice.. go try! new product from beard papa..

Monday-public holiday.. nice simple day with no funny adventures.. thank God.. when shopping at vivo with my bro n mum.. bro bought a shirt frm Ted Baker.. so ex lar! crazy..

anyways, Monday marks the end of my car adventure.. cus i got a camp tmr and dad is coming back tmr.. oh my mom is going surprise him by picking him up frm the air port.. hopes he'll get surprise not heart attack.. ahahaha.. hope you had a great ride reading this uber long post.. and for those who sat in my car.. i am glad you are alive.. i am a good driver! ahahah..

i have been playing so much since exams ended oh man it feels so damn good! after all that pressure and books. i am finally free..

on our last paper, we were so sick of doing exam that we decide to leave 45 mins before the paper ends! which means we get to make it just in time for our long awaited KBox Session! Zj sang until he had no more voice! it was so fun.. finally we get to sing the new jay chou songs!

and then the activity that we have been all waiting so long for! Mambo at Zouk! the queue was CRAZY! next time i am going to queue at 8pm! rarr! the whole school was there la! so sad i came too late and i couldn't get into phuture.. but who cares as long as we get to party!

spend the night at Eugene's place, new house! woke up at 5pm the next day! headed down to Cathy to catch a movie. Watched Bolt the Superdog in 3D! it is so cool, you all should go try. its like 2 dollars more only! and they give you those 3D glasses.. Bolt is so so so Funny! its a must watch! Oops, sorry we watch w/o you zj.. but you got so many ppl to watch it with you.. hmmm.. i wonder who u will pick.. hahaha!!!

holiday seem great so far, get to spend time with my darling everyday! haha.. woke up early today to send my dad off to the airport.. i have the car for the weekend! wohoo! oh and guess what i am employed too for the holidays! work seem pretty exciting, most of my colleagues are from NUS or NTU and there is this big group from Real Estate too! so glad i dun have to work alone :)
