what happened was really funny.. let the adventure begin.. ahahah..

it was just another drive home frm school..

the burnt rubber smell was damn strong.. maybe the driver saw sparks coming out of it la like hot wheels cartoon.. it was so bad that pieces of burnt tyre rubber can b found along the road..

so i called my dad..

Kelly.. dad i m stuck at CTE w a flat tyre.. help me!

Dad.. sorry i cant rescue you.. call AA(automobile association) and settle it yourself..

so mean.. so we went back in the car and called AA..

we were having a really good time cam whoring in the middle of expressway.. super funny.. the tow truck took onli about 15 mins to arrive..

my tyre was fixed like within 15mins.. super fast.. oh the traffic police came too..

TADDAA! the spare tyre nicely fixed.. and we are ready to go! haha.. its puny compared to the normal tyre..


it was a really interesting experience.. having a flat tyre and stranded along the expressway for the first time..i learn alot and i am so glad i wasnt alone.. Garvin and Raj! i won't know what i will do without you 2 la! thank you! i will be so panicky.. thanks for being there.. sorry your ride hm took so long.. ops...

Ever Changing Itinery

My plans for the day has veered so FAR away what it was suppose to be..

original plan was to go visit my grandpa's grave in the morning then head over to school for dance and then attend cast party at Zaini's place..

but this was what happen..

first, missed the whole visiting the grave part cus my mom dint wake me up.. then by the time i wake up it was alr 2 and i was suppose to go sch.. then i just felt so lazy and i felt like just staying hm and do revision.. hahaha.. i even sms my mom to buy lunch back..

then my phone rang! mom ask if i want to go eat dim sum at geylang w the rest of the family(aunts, uncle, cousin..) then i was like.. ok.. sure its just lunch.. so lunch at at famous dim sum place..

then my uncle suggested.. Durian for desert? then everyone was like.. Okays!

went across the rd for durian..

its simply heavenly la! love durians..

then after that we walk back to the car and was planning to go back hm to do revision.. and then

another suggestion.. aunt ask.. eh expo got Robinson sale! want to go???

struggles.... thought to myself..

i just shop yesterday.. i need revision.. shopping is sinful... its a bad idea..

and then i replied.. OK, Lets go!

the temptation is too strong!

and it was indeed as fulfilling as ever! there were so many labels on sale.. there were esprit, fox, ck, g2000, hypnosis, triumph, puma, shoes.. bags.. watches.. everything is there la.. my aunt n i spend like 1 hr just looking thru esprit section.. and we were there frm 5 plus all the way to 8plus.. 3 hrs of quality time at the sale..

and when the cashier handed us the receipt... this was the reaction on every one's faces.. we were like.. OMG, HOW DID WE EVEN BUY SO MUCH...!!!???

we bought everything ranging from cloths, shoes, pillows, toys... everyone walk home with a big shopping bag la.. mom n i bought the most.. ops.. then i was feeling kinda guilty then i ask my mom like if she is feeling guilty.. she replied..

aiya, we need to do retail therapy sometimes.. haha.. she is right!

my buys.. this tiger stripes pumps.. (i have been having some obessions with animals lately) 3 tops and a blazer frm g2000.. actually i dint buy that much la..

after the exhausting shopping (both to the legs n pockets) we head for dinner.. and since we were in the east i suggested we go hav dinner at zj's dad seafood place.. some where we can get good food at a good price..

when we reach changi village... instead of heading to dinner, we got distracted by this whole stretch of flea market.. then the urge to shop just came over all of us again.. haha.. but thank God we dint walk home with another big bad.. its a interesting bazaar.. mostly sell second hand stuff

and i picked up this really cute key chain at $1.. and its a baseball and a bat.. so remind me of my secondary school days when i was in the softball team ( i use to b a sporty outdoor person.. cant tell right..) due to our long detour at the bazaar.. all the fish at zj stall is sold out! but we still had a good meal..

today was really spontaneous.. and its been so long since i spend proper time with my aunties they all.. return home feeling super contented..

anyway.. it seem like i am not the only one addicted to shopping.. steph went bugis street again! we jus went yesterday.. and zj is gng Robinson sale tmr.. bet he will walk home with more stuff than me.. we shall see.. hahaha..

Shopping date today with dearest Zj and steph and what a better way to end off our shopping spree than to catch Confessions of a Shopaholic! the show is hilarious! its a super good show and i can so relate to it! with a closet at home full of cloths that falls like an avalanche every time i open it.. countless bags.. bursting shoe rack.. and i still feel like i have nothing to wear and i am still shopping! hahaha.. i bet u all feel like this all the time too! ladies, you must watch this.. its damn good.. and you guys should catch this show as well, then you will understand why women get so much thrill from shopping!

Supper with Suyin and Shan at kovan Hong Kong Cafe today! seem like our lunch and dinner dates never work and we have to resort to having supper.. haha.. its our second supper session alr! and we did so much catching up. Hmmmm.. hahahaha...

a few good things to mention this week..



1. Eug lee had a hair cut! like FINALLY! and he has been receiving praises from everyone in school.. i am so glad he snip off the messy unkempt hair of his.. feels like my long lost bf from year 1 is back! hahaha.. love this new look!






2. Ice cream at Holland v.. hand out after school w steph, zj, kok, bp and cad.. feels good to chill and jus relax.. and its like my first time at cold rock.. feel like mountain tortise



3. Manage to sell my textbk despite it being wk 10.. haha.. its amazing how i can buy 2 of the same textbook without even realising.. i bought it in yr 1 and bought it again in yr 2.. my
memory is failing me..




the not so good things that happen this wk..



1. Poor Cad got into a car accident.. Thank God nothing happen to him or nana.. some guy was busy staring at his phone and dint stop at the traffic light and bash straight into cad's car! so scary.. i am just really glad that he is ok.. better not use my phone on the rood.. mus b a good n responsible driver!



2. finance test was atrocious! i think i only got 1 question right! sobs



3. 3 hour project mtg! its crazy.. i dun think i can survive 3 hours of project tmr! i am super unmotivated lately.. caught the lazy germs..

Evocation 2009

Evocation is finally over! no more weekends packed with rehearsals.. no more packet food.. no more torture sessions.. no more wayang make up.. no more emo nemo sessions..no more bruised knees and abrasions..

the concert was a great experience.. we performed in a studio instead of the usual stage. i think its actually a refreshing and rare experience.. the audience are so close that u can hear them whisper.. its makes projecting emotions so much more intimate.. i would say i learn alot and i had fun.. and i m so going to miss some part of evo.. especially rehearsals for Shahrin's item.. its been so so so fun and its a great joy dancing for the item.. pls cast me in your future items!!!

as you all hav read about the crazing ticketing issue.. there are only 100 tics per night and its first come first serve! u can imagine how bad the situation is.. eug got rejected at the door on opening night even though he came on time! its crazy.. so they learn to come at least 1.5hr before doors open to queue..

thank you all for making time for my concert.. it means alot to me and i really appreciate it! love you all lots lots!

Caderam, Nana, Step n zj were there on the 2nd night.. and they were sitting right in front i could see them when i was on stage! and can actually hear them whisper.. ahahahah.. thank you all! we went Holland v after that to chill.. our dim sum plan fail though..

to Amanda and my dearest cell, i am so so so SORRY about forgetting to help u all get in queue.. hope the bubble tea on Sunday made up for it :) Amanda we still owe u a drink at timbre! thanks for coming down for me and Sharon.. we are really touched..

mom and dad took leave frm work so that they can come queue for my concert! super sweet.. you all are the best.. they never miss a single concert of mine. and without them i will probably not even be dancing today..

after all the drama from missing day 1, darling came as early as 5.30pm on sat to queue for the show! and he came with a bouquet of roses.. love you darling :) thank you for all the support throughout these period..

and surprisingly thai jun and kok liang came on saturday as well.. eugene help them queue for tics.. they were so funny.. they almost stole the gun from jie xiao's item! they wanted to hold the hands of the girls in Ali item.. they were busy spotting which girls had hole in their tights through out the show!


there are TOO MANY pictures from the concert to be posted here i dunno where to start.. so just go see at facebook.. i feel lazy.. anyways.. to alvin, tracy and mindy.. i am so glad i have u all with me tis evo.. you all made the tough parts of evo bearable.. all the complain sessions in the car is pretty fun and therapeutic! hahaha.. see u all at tech class sat!

Now its back to school work.. no motivation sia.. rarr!

Rehearsals

had the most interesting dance rehearsal today.. it was torturous mentally physically and emotionally.. but i must say i really learn alot.. which is so essential for me as a dancer.

we learn how to express emotions through dance and facial projections. as a dancer i am pretty self conscious and its not easy for me to express dark emotions.. angry, pain and fear.. maybe cause its one side of life that people tend to hide and mask them with smiles and a strong front..
and being able to know how to release them thru dancing is pretty therapeutic..

the way fangqi did it was so interesting.. never done it to me before in all my years in dance.. the theme is abuse and we start the session by looking at pictures of abused women. talked about the pictures and come up with up stories for the characters.. we were told to be that character that we made up.. we even had fake names.. and then we started dancing.. and she jus starts pushing you to feel like the character and by the end of the sessions half the class were in tears..

beginning to appreciate her.. use to think she is a bitch.. opps.. but i guess she had to scream n yell.. well, at least i manage to do my double turns today :) haha.. come watch evocation!

NUS Open House!

Its the annual NUS Open House again! but this year i am not selling ice cream.. hahah.. we are the Ambassadors of Department of Real Estate. And we get to paid as well.. our job is to sell real estate to the in coming a level students..

that's us and our neighbours/competitors! the peeps from Projects and facilities Management.. well, we are still a family and we still love them..

it was an interesting experience..although i had say the same stuff like 100 times! anyway you meet alot of clueless people who got no idea about their future and no idea about what is going on in the world. i guess its due to the effects of living under the books for so many damn years! i guess i was once like that.. i am glad uni and especially being in real estate :) dear friends who just got your results.. u can come talk to me if u want advice on uni k ! all the best for applications!

Yesterday i got my very first parking fine!! rarrr!

means i am poorer by 30 bucks..

but its worth it i guess.. considering the amount of free parking i had..

mom says parking attendant only comes once in four days..

what are the chances man! i only got caught after so many months!

Happy Birthday Shahrin!

he is the choreographer for one of my item in the up coming evo.. its his birthday today and he is down to give rehearsals.. so nice la.. we suprised him with a cake.. birthday song.. yea.. the usual birthday stuff.. but it is such a joy to dance under him.. he is by far the nicest, most patient and most inspiring choreographer i met!

this year zj invited us all to eat at his dad's seafood bbq stall at Changi Village for his birthday! finally got chance to try the food there, after talking about it ever since we know him! and the food is fabulous! super fresh and tasty!! Must try!

that's zj dad, also the cook and boss of the stall! zj u look old standing beside ur dad, he is in such good shape! His dad cook super well.. zj u should really learn from him!

oh.. and this was the order that zj took for our meal.. looks so primary school! probably only his dad can decode this..

it was good food and good company.. and shi min was there as well.. first dinner with the lycan family!
hope you like our present.. it was a tedious process trying to get you r present k! better bring the tortise w u every where and dun use it to wipe your hp screen!!!!!

after dinner, we went Hong Kong cafe for desert! shared this giant french toast with caramel and ice cream with eug.. it was Huge!

Its boon pin's birthday.. its like the first time we celebrate his birthday with him after knowing him for so long.. i wonder why.. hahaha.. We went KTV in the afternoon at chinatown..had the super big room.. its so much better than the last time i went..

then we headed to dinner at bugis! it took us a while before coming to a decision to eat there.. we change location from dim sum buffet to laska steam boat... finally here! seem like we are quite a indecisive bunch of ppl.. hahah..

it was a pretty large crowd! the year 1 were there too! Happy Birthday Boon Pin! remember to bring cream puff on monday!!!

Recess Wk

Recess Week is OVER! it just flew by and it can hardly be considered a break.. i think i am more relaxed on normal school days than term break. everyday was either filled with project meetings or rehearsals.. No Life! well.. at least there were 2 good days where i actually manage to just go out and have fun..

Lycans Outing!

we were suppose to go and watch the rise of the lycans together.. it was probably the most horribly planned outing ever!

1. cad only confirm w us abt the outing at 9 am in the morning when we were suppose to meet at 12pm.. so its like 3 hours notice.. amazing that most of us actually turn up.. haha..

2. we actually manage to miss our movie 3 times!

3.we got chased out of Anderson's ice creams caused we dint enter from its main entrance.. WTH!



Despite all that bad planning and all the unfortunate events.. it was actually quite fun.. had lunch at fish n co and later tea time at secret recipie. and after all that merry go round we managed to watch rise of the lycans! mission accomplished! hahaha.

was suppose to go Mambo with steph that night.. but i PS her.. Opps.. haha.. spend some time with eugene instead.. went timbre at art house.. but cus we were damn broke.. we decided to just sit by the river and leach on the free music! i think its so much better.. nice river view, less crowd, and no service charge!

Friday- met eugene for dinner and movie.. watched role models.. his kind of show.. quite funny and we had dinner at the new Jap food court at Paradiz. it is really nice in there and the prices are affordable.. go check it out!

its on the top level of paradiz centre i think.. and the whole place is jap.. from food to drinks to snacks.. they even hav mix veg rice in jap style..

i had ramen..

eug had this omu rice with beef burger patty.. its super nice..and the portion is generous as well..

jap grape juice in a fancy polka dotted can.. super cute la.

i think not much ppl know about the place.. cus its relatively empty considering its Friday night.. so next time if you happen to be around that area.. go try!
