Reflections 2009

I am not a fan of doing reflections and all that reminiscences on the past year and so on.. cus i think we should always look forward instead. but after reading a few blogpost of other people's reflections i am prompted to do one too..

2009 felt like a really long year and looking back i would say it was a fruitful one with many pleasant experiences, achievements as well as learning experience..

In the beginning of the year i was still active as a vp of DE club and went through events like vday, bash, FOC and Rag.. and then i was in nus dance ensemble as well, was their treasurer for half a term and did Evo as well.. it was a good experience and hectic school life for me..

Despite the busy semester, i actually did pretty well.. good enough to land me a spot in the Dean's List! haha.. my dad is so proud of me for that.. and everyone else just stares in disbelief! but i m actually really intelligent k! nt as bimbotic!!! and i got a Gold Award for excellent CCA Achievements as well! *gives myself many pats on the shoulders..*

During the long break in between i joined Huttons Real Estate. An agency that focus on projects marketing. trained and practiced as an agent. It was a fantastic learning experience, learn so so much about the industry.. and those skills and experience that cant be found in text book!

In July, i threw a big party for my 21st! Kelly bimbotic party where all the guest had to come in something pink! it was an awesome party, very pink, loads of balloons, pretty cake.. many thanks to those who helped make it happen :)

yr 3 sem 1 was a pretty quiet one.. nothing exciting going on.and dear steph is in Germany! the only exciting part were the many gossips that went on! haha.. but i went for my first Halloween Party at Butter dressed as a sailor!

The end of the year is a busy one for me.. manage to secure an internship at Keppel Land! with some of my mummy's connections in the industry.. and the experience there is great.. had loads fun and learn alot as well.. and its going to be useful for my resume in future! really blessed to have this opportunity..

And i decided to make a come back for my blogshop business.. this time i m doing it with shan.. so far we have received really good response on our FB page and sales are pretty good.. and we are again blessed with a photographer a friend of mine who is so kind as to help us out.. and he takes really gd pics! we just finish out shot for collection 2 and it should set to launch tmr evening.. so look out for it! 2009 have been a great year for me.. made many new friends and became better friends with existing friends.. had the love of my friends and family which is the most important.. and celebrated 2nd yr anniversary with my bf.. happy that we are still as loving as ever or more after 2 years :)


Things to look forward to in 2010

" I am happy to let you that you can remove ur braces in Jan" said the dentist.. wohooo! i m removing my braces and i am so looking forward to it after 4 long torturous years!!! dental apt 18 jan.. counting down to it!

Work and Travel USA for 3 months, May Jun July.. should be back mid august.. cant wait to finally travel and have fun.. and Eugene is coming as well.. Will be working at New Jersey and traveling all over US! all the factory outlets here i come!

and School.. i am actually looking forward to returning to school and getting back my life as a student.. working is so no life! cant imagine how i will survive after e graduate!
