dear all. i m back on the blog, sorry i have been disappearing quite alot this time. well i have been really busy with DE club elections but now that its all set and done i am less stress.
in case you all are puzzled with what i m talking abt.. de club stands for 'design and environment' club (we dun do gardening..lols). we are basically a faculty's club that runs social events such as freshman camps and other activities to bond the faculty. the club played a big part of my uni life, and its the place where i met my closest friends in uni as well as i get alot of opportunity for personal developments such as leadership. i really enjoyed my time in the club and i decided to join the MC so that i can better serve the club.
the whole election has been an eye opening experience for me. i would say that i learn alot abt myself and also the people around me. its at such times where you get to see people's true colours and intentions. sometimes does get a little disappointing to see how selfish, childish and disruptive some people can get.. oh well, that aside.. i m successfully in the mc and elected as the vice president.. its a great challenge for me, but i m really excited :) this mc has a dynamic mix of people from both the archi n bre side. its the first time we have so many archi people(albert,richie,ping lei) with us. they have finally taken the first step to bridge the gap and i m proud of the people who stepped up to the challenge. i m sure you all are the agents of change and we are all going to work together to make a difference :). Eugene lee is the president of the club now and i m glad to have the chance to work together with him in this.
i m really excited abt what is to come. we have been in school till post mid night since Tuesday to plan and discuss.. i so need to catch up with my work this week end. well, i m glad that i have supportive friends through this period of time to listen to all the complains.. and to my dear powerpuff friends step n zj, thanks for coming down today.. u guys are great, love u all..
