FOC

Yipeee! FOC is over and it was a great success after about 1 whole year of planning. it was a tedious 4 days, no sleep, vegetarian food, sore throat, sweat and stress.. but its all worth it. This FOC has been a great learning experience for me, it taught me how to expect the unexpected and to really think on your feet.

camp started Sunday afternoon.. it was day 0 where all the ogls gather for a detailed briefing before camp start as well as help us with the logistics.

Day 1 started on a good note as most of the freshie arrived on time and we could start the camp early. i manage to spot this guy that look really like wu zun n jay combine tog.. and i was like omg!! so the girls nicked named him JayZun. so exciting right. we did like a amazing race around school.. played takeshi, some sde tradition where they make the freshman climb up this super sloppy n soapy canvas, enjoyed pouring soap and watching them slide onto each other, oh ya, and we accidentally washed a lizard down too, opps , hope no one noticed.. and at night it was fate and guess what! i assigned myself to JZ's table! muahahaha.. i had such a great time disturbing him..
everything was going well until i was called up for an emergency meeting. some unfortunate event happened over at the archi camp and we are forced to make drastic changes to our program for day too.. it was a time of crisis and zj me kok had to work through the night to churn out a new prog for the next day. thank God ernest and ryan were there to help us along..

Day 2 started with a crisis briefing with my prog com and the mc members. i m glad we manage to pull it off together as a team. day 2 went on really well, i guess its because we all had a common goal and we were working together towards it. thank you all for the strong support, day 2 won't have been as good without u all.

day 3, everything went back on schedule on day 3 and we had field games! besides having to constantly look out for the irritating security guard and racing for time with the rain, the program was really fun.. we did all games we planned out for, like captains ball with chicken and squid, hamburger, soap hockey and all.. eugene ang's soap hockey was really fun but the clearing up was hell ! the later part of the day we had the watermelon challenge and caderam manage to break the full watermelon with their head! the crowd was stunned! iron man!

day 4, we set out early for sentosa for beach games. well it was a relaxing day for the prog com n mc. so we decide to go around asking for strip dance from the guys.. it was so fun.. and we stripped jayzun too! muahahah.. camp ended with the mtv presentation and a super emo video done up by the pub cell..

it was an amazing 4 days and i am really thankful for my prog cell, steph, zj, ezann, jasmin, eug and kok, who ran along side with me throughout this process, like what i always say you all are a great blessing to me and its been real joy working together. great thanks to zj who took on all the paper work and not grumble at all.. u really help lighten my load and also to our dear log head kok.. sorry for all the nagging, you were great! lots of thanks to the mc, eug lee, caderam christina, weiting, kailin, henry, the camp is not possible without u all..

well the only sad thing about this whole camp is that the committee dint really get to interact with the freshies cus we are always so busy.. but its ok i still have Rag!! another marathon to run!
