Running Shoes

i am going to start to keep fit! (yes.. its true) and to motivate myself to do it.. i went shopping for a pair of running shoes today! i bought myself a pair of PINK asics! so pretty la. i love it .eugene says its a good investment! (he hardly says that about the things i buy..)

i haven been running since JC ! which is like years ago.. maybe i should start with brisk walking! haha.. i cant wait to wear my new shoes!

Birthdays happenings

The month of August seem like a really popular birthday month.. i attend at least 1 birthday every week! here's a quick flash back of all the bday parties i attended this month..

starting from the most recent..


Li Ping's 20th birthday held in school.. and izaac should totally win some award for being a really good bf.. he did this super sweet video for her which is on fb.. and he bought her this giant yohi (the green dino) which was super cute...


but even before li ping could lay her hands on the toy........................

the poor animal was being gang raped by eug bp n kok!! outrage of modesty! i feel so sad for yoshi.. ahahahah


LYDIA's 21st.. her theme was rainbow.. and in her bday speech she tells e reason she chooses the theme is because the rainbow symbolises the promises of God and she went on to share a short testimony of how her life have been blessed with God's love.. i thought it was really meaningful..


Next is steph's 21
this have been covered in the previous blog post alr.. so we shall move on..



Louis 23 held at Kbox marina.. they opened a 3 litres martell.. and u can imagine the how rest of the party went with all that alcohol...

there was this massive cake fight which they claim that i started.. i dint la.. i jus push his face into e cake only.. what happen after that was non of my business alr.. haha..


and that's louis at the end of the day.. totally knocked out!

and can u believe that the backdrop in this photo is done by our very own swine zj! its amazing to realise he actually have some creative talents.. love really brings out the best in a person! haha..


Lastly Pam's 21st.. which was held at the begining of the month.. it was held at a bar on emily hill.. some where at dhoby ghaut.. nice cosy venue.. but her party had more alcohol than food.. and towards the end there was a dj and the place was transformed into a mini dance floor.. this is so pam!

Steph 21st

Stripes Overload!

and we were all present in stripes cus she threaten to paint us in stripes if we dint.. haha.. the party was great! there were helium balloons, classy cocktail tables and louis brought in party lights n smoke machine!



the guys from sde did 2 items for her.. they sang the song "peng you" which made steph teared! and it was followed by the hilarious wonder boys performance! super entertaining..

and like wad gossip girls always say.. parties are the best places to check out on the latest scandals and gossips.. so here u go.. xoxo

haha.. happening right.. we bought steph a camera and a nice scrap book done by me!


and the event ended off w Sde's favourite Kelly's Talk show.. too bad we cant webcast for those who missed the show! hahaha..


tts all for steph party! and she is flying off tmr to Germany! i am so sad.. i am gng to miss my dear friend/gossip buddy/shopping buddy/ powerpuff girl for 1 whole sem!! so long!!!

Rag 09

SDE Rag 09 was such a blast!
the feeling i had while i was standing at e grandstand watching e performance is indescribable..there is just this deep sense of joy, warmth and pride which brings me to tears! i m so in love with sde and i dun want uni to ever end! but its my 3rd rag already! time really flies..






Rag is the evidence of love, friendship and bonding..
every piece of cardboard, paper mache, every stroke of paint were effort of sde raggers! all the sleepless nights, sweaty practices and endless cladding..

Fullerton

Saturday my family attended a baby shower at Town restaurant at Fullerton Hotel..


the restaurant is located at the lobby and they have beautiful outdoor seatings that faces the Singapore river and esplanade park..


but the weather is kinda warm so we opted for the indoor seatings.. which were nice n comfortable and close to the buffet spread..


it was a pretty interesting buffet.. featuring local delights like laska, rojak, and all.. there were sushi and Indian food as well.. the spread was good.. not much pics uploaded cus we were too busy eating..

oh and guess what.. as we were dining.. we caught a glimpse of Liverpool as they pass by the hotel in their river cruise.. their fans were there cheering and screaming.. well although i dun know a single player i still went out to check them out and take pics!



that's all.. the rest of the time at e hotel was spent taking pictures.. favourite activity.. hahaha..


oh and some of my relatives came over frm Malaysia this weekend to attend another baby shower at seletar.. and we had bring them around..

but its kinda sad.. cus Singapore is so boring..we brought them to marina barrage to catch the ndp rehearsal fire works.. then they say fire works is damn common over there.. then we had to think of were to bring them to eat.. but everything we have here they have it too and theirs taste better! we wanted to go visit the new ion.. but its going to be jam packed cus its a sat.. every where is so freaking crowded la.. i feel so ashamed of Singapore sometimes.. there is nt much decent tourist places.. lets hope things get better when the IR comes up..

Mcdonald Party at 25 ?

Happy Birthday Eugene! Congrats on turning a Quarter Century Old.. Hope you had fun at ur McDonald's party! haha.. its really funny to see a bunch of over age kids wearing party hats, sitting on those super small chairs that hardly fit our bums, playing kiddy games at a mac party!



its eug lee birthday.. and his all time favourite food is mac.. suffering from a deprived childhood.. he nv had a mac party.. so i decided to throw him one! with the help of our very capable McDonald manager, nana...


she organised games and basically put the party together! thank you so much nana.. you did a great job.. it was a fun party!

we were suppose to head on to Wala after the party cus eug's favourite band is playing there.. but it was kinda late alr so we decided to head down to Timbre at Art House for drinks and to chill..


yup.. that concludes the day of our Quarter Century old man!

the day before his bday.. i brought him out for dinner.. went to CHIJMES.. and ate at this pizza place.. the flavours were really unique and taste great as well.. the ambiance was really nice too..

and i baked him a cake as well! although it kinda went out of shape after sitting in my car for almost half a day..

i got my iphone! yay!!! and guess what.. its pink as well !!! hahahaha...

well, he asked me if i want the new 3Gs model.. but its all out of stock i gotta wait for 3 weeks! i got no patience.. and its almost similar to e previous one and its abt 200 dollars more! being a tech dummy.. i dun need something really good.. as long as e phone is sleek and pretty its good enough for me!


now i need someone to tutor me on how to use this!! love my phone!
